TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. VAT

All quotations and invoices are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate where applicable.

2. Acceptance of Quotation

Acceptance of any quotation, whether verbally, electronically or in writing, shall constitute acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

3. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the outstanding balance shall become due immediately upon practical completion of the works and presentation of the final invoice. TNM Signature Interiors Ltd reserves the right to charge statutory interest and recover any reasonable costs incurred in the collection of overdue payments where permitted by law.

4. Retention of Title

Legal ownership of all goods, materials and products supplied by TNM Signature Interiors Ltd shall remain with the Company until full payment has been received and cleared.

5. Care of Installed Flooring

Upon completion of installation, responsibility for the protection, maintenance and ongoing care of all floor coverings transfers to the customer. Flooring must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.

6. Deposits, Special Orders & Returns

A deposit will be required upon acceptance of the quotation to secure the booking and enable the purchase of materials.

Special order, bespoke and made-to-order products cannot be cancelled or returned once ordered. Where suppliers agree to accept the return of non-stock items, any applicable restocking charges shall be payable by the customer. Nothing within this clause shall affect the customer's statutory rights.

7. Existing Services

TNM Signature Interiors Ltd accepts no responsibility for the condition, suitability or integrity of any existing plumbing, drainage, heating systems, electrical installations, gas services or other concealed services within the property.

8. Existing Pipework & Services

Whilst every reasonable care will be taken during the course of the works, TNM Signature Interiors Ltd shall not be liable for the failure of existing pipework, fittings or services due to age, corrosion, deterioration, previous workmanship or any pre-existing defect.

9. Insurance, Guarantees & Quotation Validity

TNM Signature Interiors Ltd maintains Public Liability Insurance with indemnity cover of £2,000,000.

Unless otherwise stated, quotations remain valid for 28 days from the date of issue.

Our workmanship is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of practical completion. All products and fittings supplied are covered solely by the respective manufacturer's warranty and terms.

10. Asbestos

Should any material suspected of containing asbestos be identified during the works, all affected work shall cease immediately until the material has been tested and, where necessary, removed by a suitably licensed contractor.

Any costs arising from asbestos testing, removal, delays or associated remedial works shall remain the responsibility of the customer.

11. Bathroom Maintenance

Following completion, it is the customer's responsibility to clean and maintain the installation using products approved or recommended by the relevant manufacturer.

Damage resulting from incorrect cleaning products, misuse, neglect or inadequate maintenance shall not be covered under the Company's workmanship guarantee.

12. Kitchen Worktops

TNM Signature Interiors Ltd shall not be liable for damage occurring after installation as a result of misuse, impact damage, scratches, excessive heat, standing water, failure to maintain sealed joints or inadequate customer maintenance.

13. Floor Maintenance

The customer shall be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of all floor coverings, including the use of appropriate cleaning products and maintenance methods recommended by the manufacturer.

14. Customer-Supplied Materials

Where goods or materials are supplied by the customer, TNM Signature Interiors Ltd accepts no responsibility for manufacturing defects, incorrect specifications, incompatibility, shortages, delivery delays or damage prior to installation.

Any additional labour, delays or remedial works arising from customer-supplied materials shall be chargeable.

15. Tiling

Unless otherwise stated within the quotation, labour costs are based upon the installation of standard large-format wall and floor tiles.

Should smaller format tiles, mosaics, patterned layouts, herringbone designs or other complex installations be selected after acceptance of the quotation, additional labour charges may apply.

16. Data Protection

TNM Signature Interiors Ltd processes personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Customer information will only be used for the purposes of administering the contract, providing warranties, registering products or where disclosure is required by law.

17. Silicone Sealant

Silicone sealant is a consumable maintenance item and should be inspected regularly and replaced where deterioration becomes evident.

Failure to maintain silicone seals may result in water ingress and associated damage, which shall not be covered under the Company's workmanship guarantee.

18. Protection of the Property

Reasonable measures will be taken to protect floors, access routes and working areas throughout the duration of the works.

Whilst every effort will be made to avoid damage when transporting materials through occupied properties, minor scuffs or chips to painted surfaces or woodwork may occasionally occur. Where damage is directly attributable to our works, we will make good the affected area ready for redecoration. Full redecoration is excluded unless specifically included within the quotation.

19. Removal of Existing Installations

Due to the nature of removing existing bathrooms, kitchens, tiles, plaster and floor coverings, damage to adjacent plasterwork, decorations or finishes may occasionally occur.

Where reasonably practical, affected areas will be made good ready for decoration. Complete redecoration is not included unless expressly stated within the quotation.

20. Unforeseen Works

This quotation is based upon a visual inspection only.

Hidden defects, including but not limited to rotten flooring, defective joists, damaged plaster, inadequate plumbing, unsafe electrical installations, structural defects, asbestos or water damage, may only become apparent once works have commenced.

Any additional works required shall be discussed with the customer and charged separately before being undertaken.

21. Variations

Any variation to the agreed specification requested after acceptance of the quotation may result in additional costs and revised completion dates. No variation shall be undertaken without the customer's agreement.

22. Additional Works

Any work requested by the customer that falls outside the original quotation shall be treated as additional work and charged separately.

23. Customer Delays

Where delays arise due to customer instructions, late product selections, unavailable customer-supplied materials, restricted access or any other customer-related matter, TNM Signature Interiors Ltd reserves the right to revise completion dates and recover any additional costs reasonably incurred.

24. Site Access

The customer shall provide safe, uninterrupted access to the property during agreed working hours together with access to electricity, water and suitable welfare facilities where reasonably available.

25. Parking

Any parking charges, permits, congestion charges or similar costs reasonably incurred in carrying out the works shall be payable by the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

26. Programme of Works

Any completion dates provided are estimates only and shall not constitute a contractual guarantee. Completion may be affected by unforeseen site conditions, additional works, supplier delays, adverse weather or circumstances beyond the Company's reasonable control.

27. Supplier Delays

TNM Signature Interiors Ltd shall not be liable for delays arising from manufacturers, suppliers, couriers or shortages of labour or materials beyond its reasonable control.

28. Manufacturer Defects

The Company accepts no liability for manufacturing defects in products supplied. Where defects arise, we will provide reasonable assistance in obtaining replacements or warranty support from the relevant manufacturer.

29. Practical Completion

Minor cosmetic defects or outstanding snagging items that do not materially affect the safe use or operation of the installation shall not prevent the works from being deemed practically complete or justify withholding payment.

Any agreed snagging items will be completed within a reasonable period.

30. Photography

Unless otherwise requested in writing by the customer, TNM Signature Interiors Ltd reserves the right to photograph completed installations for quality assurance and marketing purposes. No personal information identifying the customer shall be published without prior consent.

31. Waste Removal

Unless otherwise stated within the quotation, all waste generated directly from the contracted works shall be removed from site by TNM Signature Interiors Ltd.

32. Customer Deliveries

Customer-supplied goods should be delivered to site prior to the agreed commencement date unless otherwise agreed.

Delays arising from missing, damaged or incorrect customer-supplied products may result in additional labour charges and revised completion dates.

33. Natural Product Variations

Natural stone, timber, ceramics and other manufactured products may exhibit variations in colour, shade, texture, pattern and finish. Such variations are inherent characteristics of the materials and shall not be regarded as defects.

34. Existing Building Structure

Unless specifically included within the quotation, products shall be installed to suit the existing structure of the property.

TNM Signature Interiors Ltd shall not be responsible for imperfections resulting from walls, floors or ceilings that are out of level, out of plumb or structurally uneven unless remedial works have been expressly included within the quotation.

35. Force Majeure

TNM Signature Interiors Ltd shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure arises from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, flooding, fire, industrial action, pandemics, transport disruption, utility failures or shortages of labour or materials.

36. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with the works or these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
